Strategester ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at strategester.com and the associated API at api.strategester.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address — when you submit the early access or waitlist form.
- Server logs — IP addresses, pages visited, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings collected automatically by our web server for debugging and security purposes.
- Usage data — anonymous aggregate statistics about which features and markets are used, to help us improve the product.
We do not collect names, payment information, or any sensitive personal data at this stage of the product.
3. How we use your information
- To contact you about early access, product updates, and launch announcements.
- To understand how users interact with the product so we can improve it.
- To maintain security and prevent abuse of our service.
4. Email communications
By submitting your email address, you agree to receive product updates and announcements from Strategester. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us at hello@strategester.com.
We will never sell your email address or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data storage
Email addresses collected via our waitlist form are stored securely on our server. Server log data is retained for up to 30 days and then deleted. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
6. Third-party services
Our dashboard fetches live market data from Bybit and OKX public APIs. These requests are made server-side and your identity is not shared with these exchanges.
We do not use third-party advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics services that profile individual users.
7. Cookies
We use minimal browser storage (localStorage) only to save your in-app preferences such as selected theme (dark/light mode), last viewed strategy, and last selected market. No tracking cookies are set.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your email address from our waitlist.
- Object to our processing of your data.

9. Children
Strategester is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist members of significant changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
